Minor Arpeggios

It´s structure is R b3 5 If we are in A- then the A- Arpeggio will consist on the notes A C E .

Ok, ok but... How do I play it? We are gonna learn it in 5 different positions or boxes, same arpeggio scale distributed along the fretboard. For each box we are gonna have a "Reference Chord" , a chord that is linked to that specific box.

Box 1

Arpeggio Scale

Reference Chord A-

The reference chord goes together with the box, each box covers a different area of the fretboard, it is still the same arpeggio scale, the same 3 notes, crazy, right?

Box 2

Arpeggio Scale

Reference Chord A-

Box 3

Arpeggio Scale

Reference Chord A-

Box 4

Arpeggio Scale

Reference Chord A-

Box 5

Arpeggio Scale

Reference Chord A-

How I practice the arpeggios? First step it´s just learn all the shapes well, once you know them well let´s focus on a fretboard area, here it´s where you can see how well you have learned the arpeggios.

Track A- Box 1, D- Box 4, G- Box 2 , F- Box3 and C- Box 5. All those arpeggios are in the same area of the fretboard, can you switch from one to other? time to set a metronom or a backing track and put 4 bars per chord, let´s check your skills!
